Genius Wellbeing was established in 1994 (then known as Lazenby Yoga) by Murray and Gillian Lazenby.
Murray and Gillian completed Pilates Teacher Training with Alan Menezes in 2001, and are certified by the Pilates Institute of Australasia.  They live in Eltham and have two sons who are 20 and 22 years old.
All our instructors, Andrew, Angela, Ann, Chris, Georgia, Georgina, Joanna, Kate, Katie, Laura, Sahar, Suze and Wendy are fully trained, experienced instructors who are passionate about sharing the benefits of Yoga and Pilates.

In addition to the Eltham Timetable, we provide Yoga and Pilates instruction at Melbourne University Sport & Yarra
Leisure (Fitzroy Pool, Richmond Recreation,
Collingwood Leisure), Eltham High and private sessions at your home or our venue.
Genius Wellbeing was established in Fitzroy in 1994 and expanded to Eltham in 2002.
14 experienced and passionate instructors work with us.
Murray began practicing Yoga at 18 years of age, in 1980, initially from a book, while recovering from serious spinal injury.  Over the past 33 years he had been practicing and teaching Yoga to the highest possible standard.  Healthy Yoga practice can give practitioners many internal and external benefits.  Participating is the first step.
Gillian started working life as an architect, but finds Yoga and Pilates teaching more personally fulfilling.
She has practiced yoga for over 20 years, and trained as a teacher with Murray Lazenby in 1997-98.  She is registered with Yoga Australia.
Suze Male believes yoga is key to mind and body wellness, allowing us to discover our true selves and connect to everyone else in a positive way.
She discovered yoga’s power to provide a pervading sense of calm in life in 2000, but it was only when dealing with the death of her mum a few years ago that it became more central to her life. A search for a healing retreat led to 200hour yoga teacher training with iFlow Yoga and she has also completed 300hour yoga training with the Association of Yoga and Meditation in India.
She now feels privileged to be a conduit for others to discover the life-enhancing benefits.
